The Prophecy
One by one, the leaders have fallen--Darkness is rising in the Clans. The peace that has ruled over Hope Forest is about to be broken, when Crow meets Ghost, and the forest splits apart.
The New Prophecy
Listen to the Song of the Heart. Its Wings will guide you if you listen. The death of the Dove, the freedom of the Crow; these two events the living must know. But the Raven has been killed and so has been born. Take this advice--convince he who is torn. Follow the heart that beats black and true. Listen to all eyes and they will come for you. But if the owl hoots its final tune, the forest shall grow and defeat all of you.

The terror of the Tribe of Nightmares has passed and our heroes are back home, greeted with open arms as the tempests of StarClan whirl around the Hollow of the monthly Gathering and lead them home to their families. Cats have been born and cats have been slain. It's up to you to help rebuild Black River Forest.
In the wake of the destruction left by the spectral Tribe, auditions are being held to determine the successors to those gone. Join us, bring your cats or adopt one of ours, and enter the world that is Tears of Betrayal.
We are a semi-literate Warrior Cats forum that's high in activity but just needs new members to break up the day-to-day boredom. However, if you're going to join, be active. Do not audition or make cats only to disappear for weeks on end.
If you wish to affiliate with us, our banner is at the bottom near the C-box.
If you have questions, please feel free to ask in the C-box if a user is there. However, do not spam the C-box with questions [if you are not being replied to] or advertisements.
If you're the type of person who joins simply for the position and you don't win, don't quit. People leave or go inactive so there may be another audition in the future for you to win. Plus, if you stay active and RP well, you earn a reputation and sometimes a staff awards positions without an audition.
Plot ideas are welcome, as our current one has just ended.
Do not be intimidated by our member size. It is typically inaccurate due to some people joining and never coming back. We're trying to clean that out now.

Significance is an active role play based on the best selling series by Erin Hunter. We've been role playing the four original Clan for over a year now. We have a unique plot that will include all of our members. We are an intermediate to advanced role play but we welcome beginners who are willing to learn. We offer cretive and skilled role playing partners, role playing rewards and many fun times! All of our member are nice and helpful so you shouldn't be afraid to ask for help, we'd be glad to help! There is a main, on-going plot here at CoHF. There are 2 prophecies that go along with it.
Basically, there are 4 main Clans. ForestClan, CreekClan, MeadowClan, and BoulderClan.
Crowstar, leader of BoulderClan, has joined forces with the rogues and is plotting to take over the forest. It's sadly cheesy and cliche, but I'm afraid he's a simple tom! <3
There is now a 5th Clan that was recently formed. It's called RavenClan and ties into the plot quite nicely. But you'll have to join to find out more about it.

Hi!
Welcome to Clans of Hope Forest (aka CoHF). My name is Blackstar, and I am the admin and creator of this site.
If you're wondering why there's only 1 board here at CoHF, it's because of spammers! I received many complaints from my fellow members, and have since decided to close the site down to guests.
If you're interested in joining, please read the rules so that you have an idea of what's expected. It's a long rule list, so you don't have to read them all at once, but it would help us all if you knew what is allowed and what isn't.
If you are thinking about joining the site but just don't know--after all, you can't see the site, so how do you know you want to join?--feel free to register! You don't have to be accepted by any admins. Just join on in! If you don't like the site, you can cancel your membership and go on your merry way.

Please follow all the rules. If the admins find you not following these rules we have set, you will recieve a warning. If it persists, you will be banned from the site and laughed at behind your back.
I. Average Rules Everyone Should Know
1) No MAJOR cussing. Minor cussing is allowed.
2) No harrassment of any kind, please!
3) Obey all admins. They are gods. <.< >.>
4) Respect your fellow members!! They are important, too.
5) Obey the Golden Rule. ("Treat others the way you wish to be treated.")
6) NO SPAMMING, PLEASE!
7) If you are not active for over two weeks and haven't posted a note on the GOING AWAY board, the admins have the power to ban you from the sight and/or usurp you of your cats' positions and fill them with someone else who is active.
8) No God-playing WHATSOEVER!!! It's not allowed! (Unless of course the other person has given you permission. Then, of course, play God all you want.)
9) Also, don't kill off someone's character w/out their express permission.
10) Only 1 major position for your cats. NOTE: Due to a shortage of active members, this rule is currently not in effect.
11) As of right now, you can have as many cats as you'd like.
12) Please keep all character appearances realistic!! No funky red eyes or "war paint" markings or any of that crazy stuff, ok? If you have a question on whether or not a certain appearance is allowed, either post it in the character's bio and we'll let you know, or send one of the admins a PM.
13) Grammar is your friend! Please, use it!
II. Rules Not Everyone Might Know
1) Your cat's bio must be accepted in JOIN. If your cat was born in the clan it has been accepted in, you may go ahead and begin posting. If your cat was NOT born in the can it has been accepted in (Ex: Rusty, aka Fireheart/star, had to be accepted into the Clan), then please post your cat in SUNNING ROCKS to be accepted by the clan's leader and/or deputy. NOTE: If the clan doesn't accept you, it's not our fault. Take it up with the clan leader.
2) Concerning Leaders: If a leader dies, DO NOT scramble and yell and scream "let me be leader, let me be leader!!!" Because it's not going to happen. The deputy will automatically become leader. (See II.5)
3) Concerning Deputies: If a deputy dies or becomes leader, the leader (or deputy-turned-leader) will choose the next deputy.
4) The Exception: If there is no deputy or leader, the admins will choose someone who they believe is worthy to become leader. If you wish to become leader, this is the time to yell "pick me! pick me!"
5) Becoming Leader: If a leader dies and you become the new leader, you must go to HOPE ROCK to recieve your 9 lives from StarClan. An admin will pm you the password.
6) TO ALL LEADERS: In the join board, on BIO FORM, I posted a note down at the bottom saying that no one is allowed to be deputy w/out the leader's permission. IF YOU HAVE GIVEN PERMISSION FOR SOMEONE TO BE DEPUTY IN A PM OR EMAIL WHERE THE ADMINS CANNOT SEE IT, PLEASE let one of the admins know so that we don't rag on the poor deputy-to-be for no good reason.
7) All Clan Leaders will decide what an apprentice's warrior name will be. NOTE: If you would like your cat to have a certain warrior name, PM the leader when your cat becomes an apprentice or is ABOUT to become a warrior.
8) Becoming a Medicine Cat: PM an admin and you will receive the password to the Medicine Stones. Then go there and converse with StarClan and have them welcome you. NOTE: Medicine Cat Apprentices do not receive the password to the Medicine Stones.
III. Some important things to keep in mind...
1) If a female leader has kits, she must give up kits' care to another queen the moment she is able to. (for instance--it doesn't matter if they're newborns. it doesn't matter that they will think the other queen is their mother. she still must give them up.) If there is no other queen able to care for the kits, the leader must work out a plan with her deputy.
2) Medicine Cats are not allowed to have kits or mates. That's just the way things go. No exceptions!
3) If your Clan cat becomes a kittypet or a rogue, then decides to rejoin the clan, it is up to the clan leader to accept them back. If they don't want to accept you, there's nothing anyone can do about it. Go find a different clan.
4) Also, if your Clan cat-turned-kittypet/rogue wishes to rejoin their clan or a different clan, they must repost in SUNNING ROCKS.
5) ROGUES are Clan cats who left their Clan for life on their own. LONERS are cats who were either born loners or were kittypets who became loners.
6) When you join the site and create your first cat, your name might be changed to that of your first cat. If your name was originally that of a cats (ex: Icestorm or Graypaw--NOT Carla, or Champ, or anything like that)--but not your first cat's name--it will most likely remain the same. NOTE: Your name must be a cat's name. Sorry, but it just makes it so much easier for the rest of us if it is. Again, if you have a problem with this, PM an admin. I'm sure you'll be able to work something out.
7) When you first join, your player name color will start off a bright blue, and your title will be "new member." Your name color and title will change when you post your first "In Character" RP post.
The original Clans of Thunder, Wind, River, and Shadow were no match for what was coming next. A rain of fire, thunder exploding across the ground, then...silence.
So many years later, after the forest has recovered, the first strangely colored kit is born. And thus the story begins. But the Clans are running out of time... Will you be the one to tell the end?
[IN SHORT] Join as a cat in any color of the rainbow, and join in on an exciting, mysterious plot! Will the newly acquired powers go to the Clans' heads? Or is something much darker at work?
[WE OFFER]
A crazy, random yet helpful admin, who will make you a graphic for your character or guide you through something if you're new to proboards/roleplaying. Paintbrushes! They are our currency, and you can trade them for prizes in the Art Shop! Unique-ness! Join as a cat of any color or pattern, any! Want your deputy to be lime green with purple hearts and a white nose? Go ahead! The possibilities are endless! Different, all new Clans, with a mysterious history surrounding their creation, and each Clan's cats have different attributes.
--MountainClan - the strong, traditional warriors, with regular coat colors and patterns. Not very agile, but extremely powerful with exceptional climbing abilities. Cool and balanced, though shrouded in rumors. MountainClanners, of course, call the rough mountains their home, and rough it out in hail or drought, snow or sun. Well-known for growing to immense sizes as well.
--TwilightClan - the mysterious and secretive. These cats have the 'cool' colors of the rainbow, ranging from black to lime green, mostly blues and purples. This Clan is well-known for its cats being able to turn invisible, and walk without a single sound. They slumber during the day and hunt at night.
--TornadoClan - the fast and fiery. These proud warriors are well-known for their extremely fast speed and agility, nearly impossible to catch or outrun. Of course, they need to be, living out on the open plains where the winds are alot more wild. TornadoClanners consist of any coats with more than four or five colors, and usually have wild patterns and crazy colors.
--SunsetClan - the brave and loyal, alot like ThunderClan. SunsetClanner coats consist of the 'warm' colors of the rainbow, ranging from the deepest reds and browns to the brightest yellows and even white. They are able to stand perfectly motionless and blend into any background with a strange sort of camoflauge. They are well known for being valiant and noble, as well as having good stamina and being able to swim very well.
All leader positions are taken, but deputy, medicine cat, and warrior positions are still open! We just officially opened recently, with a whole new skin and revised plot, not to mention some extra Paintbrushes hidden here and there...

Did you ever dream of a place, a place where you were not human? A city with no boundaries, no limitations to your freedom. A place where you lived and ran those streets...as a dog. You were a part of a pack, named Dire, Aysel, Tanto or Reix. Possibly you chose to live without a pack and roam the streets alone. You slept wherever you found, and you wandered where ever you pleased. You got to feel the adrenaline in your blood as you ran away from the deli with a string of sausage. All these dreams, all possible at Shattered Alley. The dogs are free, and are able to experience the true meaning of it, too. After a large scale earthquake, the larger areas of Phereio City were destroyed. Weaker building were crumbled, the roads were cracked. Many people left the city afterward. Though, there are humans still managing a life in the area. Just a few, very few. Out of all the wreck, the dogs remain. The new disaster of a city makes a kingdom for the feral canines. But how long will it last until the humans come back again?
Shattered alley is a intermediate-advanced role play site. We have no major plot, leaving the characters more freedom to choose their character's fate. We have active and experienced role players, a beautiful layout, dedicated staff, and many different opportunities and community interactions. Why not check Shattered Alley out? After all, you should embrace your opportunities warmly, and prepare to live in a very different way.
